I have a dell laptop that i just installed a new 40 gig hard drive.
when i power it up to make sure the computer recognize the hard drive, it does but only in the bios. So know i am in the process of installing the os (windows xp). Everything is going fine. It goes through the windows setup fine. But as soon it gets to the part to format the hd and to finish the install it computer says no hard drive found but the bios recognize the hard drive. Any ideas.
