bootmgr is missing

bootmgr is missing

i was in the process of returning my computer to the factory state when my power went off and on.when it restarted it went as far as the pci device listing and stops and states bootmgr is missing then it says press ctrl+alt+del to restart.when i do this it goes to the same screen and states the samething again can someone help?

Insert the Vista installation disc into your optical drive and boot from it.

A setup screen will come out asking you for language and keyboard settings. After that you'll be presented with a list of System Recovery options...choose "Startup Repair" and let it do its thing.

Let us know if you still have problems after doing this.
