changing hard drives between computers

I have a HP 510m with alot of problems. It has a Western Digital 40 GB. I also have a HP a300n with a Seagate 40 GB hard drive. Can I swap out the hard drives and put the Western in the a300n

Probably. If I'm not mistaken both use IDE drives, so it shouldn't be a problem physically swapping them out.

You have to note though, you may have to reformat the drive and reinstall Windows. Since the hardware configurations will probably be different, a Windows installation on a hard drive configured for one PC won't necessarily work on another PC with a different configuration.
