Completely Dead

Completely DeadHave older Gateway PC, was changing hard drive while my body was unknowingly connected to 110v. and my hand was on the PC frame in the area of the optical drives. When I plugged it all back together and pushed the switch absolutely nothing happened. Had another power supply and connected it still nothing. What do you think happened?
Re: Completely DeadCould be that the motherboard fried, all components in it are very sensitive to static electricity and surges. Might be as simple as a capacitor on your motherboard that have gone bad and made the whole motherboard unusable.
Try to strip off as many modules/components/cards that you can from your computer. Like remove the harddrives, unnessesary memory modules and graphics card etc to see if you can get it to at least start up and listen if the fans go on. My suggestion would be to test all your modules/components/cards attached to your motherboard in another computer to see if they are okay. And it they are, go and buy a new motherboard. First suggestion would be to try a new power supply unit, but you said you already tried this.
