Sony RB44G desktop running Windows 7 will not boot up. When turned on, the cooling fan immediately starts running. The keyboard and monitor never light up and are non-responsive to any commands or input. The monitor works fine when connected to my laptop.
Computer was upgraded months ago from Windows XP to Windows 7 with a clean install and has been working fine until this problem. I have unplugged it from all electric power for several days and get the same result when plugging it back in. Backup/recovery disks have not been created yet.
Please advise.
