You need to connect your Belkin router to your ISP (modem or any other outlet you recieved from them). You connect the network cable from your ISP to the Internet/WAN port on your Belkin router.

Sometimes you have to reboot your ISP modem and wait a bit for it to recognize your new router. Sometimes you have to setup your router in a special way for it to communicate with your ISP. Call your ISP to find out how you should have your new router set in order to get an IP adress from them.

After you connected your router to your ISP. You need to connect your computers either via network cable via the other available ports on the router. If the router is wireless you need to set up a wireless network on the router (please refer to the user guide that you recieved with the router) and connect to the wireless network on your laptop / computer.
