Disk Defagmentor wont run

when i try to run my diskdefrager i get the message ; runs on volume C run Chkdsk/f I dont know how to do this????

It's possible your hard disk may have a soft error of some sort causing that prompt. You can perform a Scandisk to clear up any soft errors before running Defragmenter.

Click on My Computer, then right click the drive, select Properties. Click on the Tools tab, then Error Checking button.Tick automatically Fix file system errors. Windows can't fix disk errors if the drive is in use, so it will prompt you if you want to do it on reboot. Click Yes, and reboot your PC.

Scandisk will check your drive, fix any errors, if any, and boot into Windows. Try running Defragmenter again.
