Hi, I have a Packard Bell box with XP and have been happy with it until recently. I do quite a lot of burning to DVD of various sorts; DVD+R,DVD+RW,DVD-R and DVD-RW. Suddenly, the system has decided not to allow me to burn to non-rewritable discs. I get error messages if I try. Writing to DVD+/-RW is not affected. Furthermore, it will not let me copy from disc to disc either !
I use Nero but the same errors occur with Convert X to DVD and Ashampoo. CD recording is not at all affected. I would welcome any constructive advice, but please keep it simple - I'm not a computer whizz.
