So here's what happened, my dvd drive was not working. So i went to the registry editor and went into the subfolder HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControl... and then i deleted the upperfilters.
But then in doing this, i went to the wrong subfolder because in the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControl... folder, there are so many subfolders that look very similar to the {4D36E965-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318} folder.
I then restarted my laptop, and when the log-on screen came on, i could not type anything. I tried playing smart by inserting a USB keyboard but all to no avail. a usb mouse will not work either
Can anyone please help me to get my keyboard working again so i can perform a system restore.
Thanks in advance. (ooh and to avoid confusion, i'm using my mom's laptop now and not mine. Mine is currently off cos i cnt log on cos both the keyboard and mouse pad arent working.)
Thank You
