password problems
2 posts • Page 1 of 1
password problemsAs per my windows vista booklet, I followed the instructions to make a new password. The next time I tried to log on, I kept receiving the message that my password was not right. I tried putting it in a number of times, and even tried the old password a number of times, but still no luck. Now I'm locked out of my own laptop and don't know what to do. I have a toshiba laptop, Windows Vista.
Re: password problemsYou sure caps lock was not on? And also Vista have a password hint question, did you take advantage of that functionality?
In worst case, you can try the Offline NT Password & Registry Editor to make a new password, go to http://home.eunet.no/~pnordahl/ntpasswd/ to download it.
