Problem with wav files

Recently I decided to change the wav file that I use for my Yahoo mail notification. I encountered a big problem while visiting web pages that have wav files on them. On any wav file that I click on any page I get "Internet Explorer can't find the page". My current wav file on yahoo plays fine and I a have a folder full of wav files and they all play. This started about 2 days ago. No changes have been made to my computer. Midi files and mp3 files play fine. What happened? Tom
