PS2 or PS3 adapters for usb connections

Anyone know if a PS3 adapter will work the same as PS2 adapter? I have a Dell server and am setting up a second server, want to use same keyboard, mouse and monitor but the Dell server only has usb connections. My chief was told PS3 adapter for the USB will work but I don't know.

I never heard of a ps3 adapter to be honest. PS3 reminds me a lot about Playstation 3

Anyway, get a ps2 to usb adapter and plug it into your usb port and your ps2 keyboard and mouse will work great. Have in mind though, on certain Dell models only some of the USB ports will work with the PS2 keyboard/mouse adapter.

As for the monitor, it should use the same kind of inputs (digital or analog) on your kvm switch.
