Shared Networking

Hey.

I can see the shared folder from my laptop on my PC, but it will not let me access it from the PC.

I've tried many options from the internet.

It won't even let me access the shared folders that are on the same PC.

I tried adding \Device\, enabling sharing, disabled firewalls.

It may have something to do with network control. I'm not how the owner/administrator part works.

Any help would be much appreciated.

What operating system is installed on your PC and on your laptop? Are you using 2000, XP, Vista, or Linux? The solution is a tad different for each.
