Questions for Windows Vista 64-bit

System Administrator

For some reason I am unable to go into settings like screen saver because it says my system administrator has disabled the feature. How do I, as the system administrator, enable the settings?

It seems odd if your account is an administrator account, yet you don't have administrator rights.

Then again, this is Vista, so...for some reason things aren't as straightforward as they were in XP.

First try logging off and logging on again. See if that changes anything. If not, try checking the user settings on the user applet in the control panel and see if you have full administrator rights. If that still doesn't do it for you, you may have to fully enable Vista's administrator mode. Check these links:
