Unknown Beeping...??

I have a Dell Inspiron 530S. Last time it was used a few months ago it worked fine. It was moved to another location and when plugged in and turned on to use, it won't boot up. The power light is on and the fan runs but almost as soon as you turn power on, it beeps. It will be 4 short beeps then quiet and few seconds then 4 beeps again and the cycle continues. Nothing comes up on screen or anything, it just never makes it past that point. Any ideas???

It sounds to me that you might have a bad memory stick. if you have 2 sticks in then try taking 1 of them out and restart, if that dont work then take that out and put the other back in. the beeping you are hearing are codes, you can go to the dell website to get the codes. good luck
