Installed new hard drive, having restore disk issues.
Posted: Mon Dec 14, 2009 4:13 pmI have an Acer Extensa 4620-4605 laptop. 160 GB HD, Intel Pentium Dual Core Processor. I installed a new 250 GB WD hard drive. The 1st time I tried to install the restore disk I received a "no partition available" message. I took the hard drive back to the computer store and they created a partition. I tried to install the restore disks again and everything was going good but when I was done with installing all the disks I kept getting "install next disk" message. Well I couldn't escape or turn off the computer without taking out the battery. When booting up it goes to a blank screen. Don't know what to do. Thank you.
